OnePlus CEO and co-founder Pete Lau recently shared some photos on Twitter asking his followers, "What do you think of this?". The pictures seem to be a detailed mechanism of the phone. It can be used in the upcoming OnePlus foldable phone. Lau's tweet did not reveal any details about the smartphone's moniker or design. However, the upcoming OnePlus foldable phone is expected to be similar to the Oppo Find N.
Details about the device are still very short. Previous reports claimed that the foldable device may debut in 2023. OnePlus' entry into the foldable smartphone market is good news as it will lead to more competition and better products. But let's just hope OnePlus doesn't roll out a replica of the Oppo Find N with its plastic-clad Hasselblad cameras.
Currently, Samsung dominates the foldable smartphone market. The company is doing a great job improving their devices as well as making them more accessible to more people. Xiaomi has also done a commendable job with the Mix Fold 2. It is arguably the thinnest foldable we've seen so far.
